2nd Researchers’ Meeting

Between November 3rd and 8th, we welcomed Dr. Albert Tacon, mentor of the Fish for Health Research Nucleus, for a week marked by important activities and valuable knowledge exchange.

During this period, meetings were held with researchers from the project, as well as an executive committee meeting, with the aim of discussing the progress of ongoing actions and planning the next stages of the project.

Dr. Tacon also visited the research units involved, closely monitoring the development of activities, listening to researchers about the results achieved, and discussing new proposals to be carried out by the project’s newest members.
He also observed the industrial processing of mechanically separated meat (MSM), broadening his understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the production chain.

It was a week of intense exchange of experiences and strengthened partnerships, resulting in an even more integrated project, firmly committed to a single purpose: increasing the presence of fish in people’s diets and promoting better health at the tables of São Paulo!
