Fish for Health Project in Compesca 2024

On November 29, 2024, the last plenary session of the Fishing Industry Production Chain Committee (Compesca) of 2024 was held at FIESP. The Nucleus organized a panel on the theme of Fish for Health. As moderator, Ricardo Torres (Founder of Seafood Brasil and curator of Seafood Show Latin America); speakers were Prof. Dr. Nágila Damasceno (Professor at the School of Public Health at USP), Fábio Leal (Chef, professor, and creator of the PENACOS project) and Fabrício Bisoli de Alcantara (Bodybuilder, personal trainer and undergraduate in nutrition); and presiding over the event was Roberto Imai (Deputy Director of the Agribusiness Department at FIESP-Deagro). On the occasion, Thais Moron and Jessica Levy announced the project’s new website and the campaign to encourage fish consumption during the end-of-year festivities.
